Shivaji Science College Nagpur Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

There is no need of any improvements in the course curriculum and teaching methods . The teaching method is very unique and better of our college faculty . The timing during exams is of 3 hrs and during practical examination it is almost 1 hr to 3 hrs .

In the last year the students have opportunities for placement and internship facilities i can't remember the names of the companies because there are too many of them and the companies have their packages according to the students performance the persentage of people getting placement is 63% I'm thinking to continue studying and get some more educational degrees

The company does not really visit our college for interns, however, the placement cell is okay.HCL, Infosys, L&T are just a few names on the list of companies that comes here. 19 lacs per annum is the highest package. I will keep my plants secrete.

Facilities here are too good.. can explain everything to a student as they need. Well, learned are they who are able to teach well to others and here the teachers are this level. Teachers and faculty are well educated in their profession and had done PhD in their respective subjects. They teach very well sometimes in a digital way and sometimes with references. Term exams are in the form of semesters, each year has two semesters i.e one summer semester and another winter. Exams need more hard work and good or efficient study to get passed.

Students in the final year or semester are eligible for campus drive placements offered by college. Various companies like HCL, TCS, Wipro, Deloitte, Infosys visit colleges for hiring students. And a good number of students are able to get the job. The highest package goes around 4.5 Lacks P.A. and the average package is around 3.5 Lacks P.A. Out of 10 students who sit for the placement drive, 5-6 students get placed. You can opt for Higher education like M.Sc or M.C.A. or M.B.A after getting the degree or you can try in other fields as well.

Placements were available for final year students and great companies like Wipro, Amazon visited and offers placements to the students. I don't know much about packages. I have to go for higher studies, more likely abroad.

Well as this is a reputed college many of the companies came to our college for the placements and from the 5th sem, we are eligible of applying for placements. The college is highly famous for its meritorious students. The college provides great curriculum and faculty that takes students' knowledge to greater heights. It has a great history of alumis who keep encouraging and guiding under-graduates on how to choose career paths. It also has good infrastructure and is well reputed.

This college is the best in RTM Nagpur university. Outstanding faculty members, top results in university, various labs for skill development, placement support etc were done of the key reasons for joining this College. Some secondary reason include - nearby Home town, nearby hotels, prime location.

I am an alumni of 2017 batch of this college. I applied in this college in the year 1016 so I'm pretty sure my application process was different than it is, today. I filled an offline application form and waited for a couple of weeks to get a call from the college regarding my admission. I got a call and was asked to visit along with the important documents.
