Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is so far pretty well-designed. We started with the basics, and the topics have progressed in difficulty slowly. The topics themselves are pretty interesting, but also the projects, electives and clinical courses have been very helpful in supplementing our knowledge.
Placement Experience
Placeme ts haven't really developed yet, with the first batch of BA LLB only just having passed out. The Internship and Placement Cell has been set up, of course, and they held a Placement Week for the final year students. They held a number of talks from professionals about career prospects and a taste of how the corporate sector works.
College Events
A number of different events are commemorated, like Womens' day, or Mother Language Day and Ambedkar jayanti. There's also the annual fest of the college called Abhikrama, that has a variety of events
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is expensive, of course. The annual cost for the 5 year BA LLB course comes out to be around 1.78 lakh rupees. This is quite high, in fact, and not easily accesible to everyone.
Campus Life
There are a number of activities to partcipate in, like Moot court, debate, elocution, sports or quizzes. A lot of national and international competitions related to our fields are there, and many of us participated. The college has committees and cells dedicated to ensure that there's no caste-based problems on campus.
Admission
The University is a National Law University (NLU), so admission is of course through the centralised national entrance test, CLAT. I applied here after CLAT results were declared, and I took admission because despite being new, the reviews were mostly on the positive side.
Faculty
The faculty members have been helpful so far. They used interactive methods to make us understand. They taught the subjects less as pure theoretical ones and more as interactive situations. Their advice has been helpful.
