Course Curriculum Overview

The course is for 3 years or 6 semesters and provides detailed knowledge about the English language. The ancient American literature, fiction, non-fiction and grammar. (Visit the college's website for in-depth knowledge of the subjects).

Placement Experience

There was no internship option at our time, we majorly focused on learning and enhancing our knowledge, however, with the modern culture of internships, the college might provide internships at this moment. The job placement was quite decent, the stipend went up to 6 Lakh p.a.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The college was very feasible as compared to most of the colleges in our state. The annual fee for B.A Hons. (English) was approximately 2000 INR and as the span of the course was for 3 years, the total fee was approximately 6000 INR.

Campus Life

The auditorium was huge and beautiful where the guest lectures took place, there was an anti-ragging cell which was very strict if a student was caught in an action involving ragging. The ambience of the college was great which makes it an ideal place.

Admission

I applied a few years back hence I had to fill an offline application form and wait for the college to release the merit list. After a couple of weeks, the college released a merit list and I got a call from the college and was asked to visit along with the required documents.

Faculty

The faculty is great for every department but as I speak of mine, the professors were dedicated to us, always paid equal attention to our academics and extracurricular activities, motivated us to be a part of the societies.

The Placement Cell is responsible for the placement process. It is not very streamlined. Getting a job is considered tough, usually, the student has to search for it themselves. The average package offered is about 4 Lakhs which is okayish. Usually, students go for masters in Europe which is one of the best options.
