Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is light and there is not much academic pressure on the students who are pursuing this course from the college.There are internal tests and assignments and projects on whose basis marks are given.

Placement Experience

There are job opportunities in the teaching profession.Some students go and pursue M.ed while some start preparing for a government competitive examinations.No internships are provided by the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The academic fee is just 60 Rupees for one year which is very very low and there is no problem to any student regarding the fee.Students from weak financial background can also study in this college without any problem.

Campus Life

There labs of the college are in good conditions.There is facility of canteen and library present on the college for students.There is also a sports ground for the students who want to play sport such as cricket and football.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilities are good as compared to the fee of the hostel.There is no provision of Wi - fi in the hostel so students have to use their own internet.The food served in the mess is also average.

Admission

The admissions are made solely on the basis of merit.Students applying for admission in this college must have passed their 10+2 from a recognized board in order to be eligible for admission.The students have to submit the required documents at the time of admission.

The faculty of the college is good and have a very helping attitude towards the students of the college.Majority of the faculty is old and are very strict and disciplined.The professors assign us with projects and assignment from time to time.

NIT Agartala is one of the most prettiest colleges in India!!

Placement Experience:

From Gaya Steel, to JK Tyres and companies involved in production were the ones who gave us placements. On and average production engineers at our college were paid around 4-5 lakhs a year. The lowest of all but still in top corporate houses as no start-ups are into production. This established names where the one who gave us placements.

JOURNEY TO NIT AGARTALA

Placement Experience:

The market is down these days so placement is not very good but yeah i would say its average not that bad. In 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements and company starts visit to campus. Sicne the placement season just started so the process is going on but yeah deollite, oracle, sigmoid, globallogic and many more came and offer jobs. The highest package on campus is nearly about 23lpa which is offered by British Petroleum and average package may vary from 10lpa to 14 lpa. Almost 96% student got placed every year rest are seeking for higher studies and appear in Gate exams. I will take job and start my corporate journey.

Life at NIT Agartala: Learning, Living, and Growing

Placement Experience:

At NIT Agartala, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. Companies like JSW, TCE, Tata Power, Reliance, TCS, Infosys, and L&T visit, with average 6-8 lakh. About 70–80 percent of students get placed. After my degree, I plan to work in a software role.

The curriculum emphasizes both theoretical knowledge and practical application, with laboratory work, projects, and internships playing a significant role.These offered courses helps to broaden the student's perspective. The curriculum is credit-based, with each course assigned a certain number of credits. Generally, the mathematics exam is hard and this is the subject where a lot of students fail to get minimum passing marks. The exam is conducted at two timings - One in the morning and the other in afternoon.

Most affordable college for girls

Course Curriculum Overview:

The teachers try to complete the syllabus on time. The teaching methods are decent but sometimes due to shortage of time it is not feasible to study the entire syllabus in details which leads to skipping of topics in class. Exams in the Physics department is the most frequent thing. Internal exams occur atleast twice a semester, which gives you a time to improve your marks if you don't do well on the first one and it is compulsory for all to attend. However, the recruitment of teachers should be prioritsed at the moment so that all the topics could be handled efficiently and the burden of completing syllabus dilutes from a particular teacher.
