Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is good and is structured in such a way that it balances all the practical work and theory work of the students in a very systematic manner.There is no pressure of examinations on students.

Placement Experience

There are a lot of job opportunities after completion of the program.The placement record of the college for this department is not very good.Only 30% students get place every year while rest of them have to apply off campus for jobs.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The academic fee for one year is 1,100 Rupees which is very feasible and not at all expensive.I think all the students can afford it without any kind of financial burden.The fee is very much justified.

Campus Life

There is sports team of football in our college for which students have to go through a selection round.There is a poetry and music club in our college in which students can participate and showcase their talents.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilities are okay-ish.The rooms are all in sharing.I lived in a rooms that I shared with 3 other students of the college.The rooms are small and are not very spacious.There is no attached washroom.

Admission

Students applying for admission must have a bachelor's degree.The students must have minimum 45% mark in their bachelor's degree or else they'll be not eligible for admission in the college.Students have to submit the admission form which is available online and offline both.

Faculty

The faculty of the college is highly experienced and highly knowledgeable.The professors are specialized in their respective fields/subjects.The professors are very friendly and are always motivating and guiding us to do better.

NIT Agartala is one of the most prettiest colleges in India!!

Placement Experience:

From Gaya Steel, to JK Tyres and companies involved in production were the ones who gave us placements. On and average production engineers at our college were paid around 4-5 lakhs a year. The lowest of all but still in top corporate houses as no start-ups are into production. This established names where the one who gave us placements.

JOURNEY TO NIT AGARTALA

Placement Experience:

The market is down these days so placement is not very good but yeah i would say its average not that bad. In 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements and company starts visit to campus. Sicne the placement season just started so the process is going on but yeah deollite, oracle, sigmoid, globallogic and many more came and offer jobs. The highest package on campus is nearly about 23lpa which is offered by British Petroleum and average package may vary from 10lpa to 14 lpa. Almost 96% student got placed every year rest are seeking for higher studies and appear in Gate exams. I will take job and start my corporate journey.

Life at NIT Agartala: Learning, Living, and Growing

Placement Experience:

At NIT Agartala, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. Companies like JSW, TCE, Tata Power, Reliance, TCS, Infosys, and L&T visit, with average 6-8 lakh. About 70–80 percent of students get placed. After my degree, I plan to work in a software role.

The curriculum emphasizes both theoretical knowledge and practical application, with laboratory work, projects, and internships playing a significant role.These offered courses helps to broaden the student's perspective. The curriculum is credit-based, with each course assigned a certain number of credits. Generally, the mathematics exam is hard and this is the subject where a lot of students fail to get minimum passing marks. The exam is conducted at two timings - One in the morning and the other in afternoon.

Most affordable college for girls

Course Curriculum Overview:

The teachers try to complete the syllabus on time. The teaching methods are decent but sometimes due to shortage of time it is not feasible to study the entire syllabus in details which leads to skipping of topics in class. Exams in the Physics department is the most frequent thing. Internal exams occur atleast twice a semester, which gives you a time to improve your marks if you don't do well on the first one and it is compulsory for all to attend. However, the recruitment of teachers should be prioritsed at the moment so that all the topics could be handled efficiently and the burden of completing syllabus dilutes from a particular teacher.
