Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum for the ba course is well constructed keeping in mind a hectic-free study schedule and there are a total of six semesters as we have two semesters in a year and hence there are a total of three years.

Placement Experience

We have been offered placements from many renowned companies, our college trains us for the interview to give. The selection of students for placements is done very strictly and they offer good stipend amount.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee for the ba course for one year costs up to INR 7,200 and hence the fee structure for the entire three years will be INR 21,600 and hence the fee is less, there isn't any kind of degradation in the quality of education provided to us.

Campus Life

We have a well maintained and an enormous sports ground at our campus where lot of sports tournaments are conducted, we have students from lot of different colleges coming to participate in these events.

Admission

To secure admission in this prestigious college, I had to apply to the college by filling the application form present on the college website, after which I submitted the marks in 10+2 after that my name was put on the merit list.

Faculty

We have highly experienced, very qualified , caring and empathetic teachers who help us learn and understand the subjects well , they encourage us to ask many questions so that all our doubts and concerns regarding the subjects is cleared.

NIT Agartala is one of the most prettiest colleges in India!!

Placement Experience:

From Gaya Steel, to JK Tyres and companies involved in production were the ones who gave us placements. On and average production engineers at our college were paid around 4-5 lakhs a year. The lowest of all but still in top corporate houses as no start-ups are into production. This established names where the one who gave us placements.

JOURNEY TO NIT AGARTALA

Placement Experience:

The market is down these days so placement is not very good but yeah i would say its average not that bad. In 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements and company starts visit to campus. Sicne the placement season just started so the process is going on but yeah deollite, oracle, sigmoid, globallogic and many more came and offer jobs. The highest package on campus is nearly about 23lpa which is offered by British Petroleum and average package may vary from 10lpa to 14 lpa. Almost 96% student got placed every year rest are seeking for higher studies and appear in Gate exams. I will take job and start my corporate journey.

Life at NIT Agartala: Learning, Living, and Growing

Placement Experience:

At NIT Agartala, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. Companies like JSW, TCE, Tata Power, Reliance, TCS, Infosys, and L&T visit, with average 6-8 lakh. About 70–80 percent of students get placed. After my degree, I plan to work in a software role.

The curriculum emphasizes both theoretical knowledge and practical application, with laboratory work, projects, and internships playing a significant role.These offered courses helps to broaden the student's perspective. The curriculum is credit-based, with each course assigned a certain number of credits. Generally, the mathematics exam is hard and this is the subject where a lot of students fail to get minimum passing marks. The exam is conducted at two timings - One in the morning and the other in afternoon.

Most affordable college for girls

Course Curriculum Overview:

The teachers try to complete the syllabus on time. The teaching methods are decent but sometimes due to shortage of time it is not feasible to study the entire syllabus in details which leads to skipping of topics in class. Exams in the Physics department is the most frequent thing. Internal exams occur atleast twice a semester, which gives you a time to improve your marks if you don't do well on the first one and it is compulsory for all to attend. However, the recruitment of teachers should be prioritsed at the moment so that all the topics could be handled efficiently and the burden of completing syllabus dilutes from a particular teacher.
