Course Curriculum Overview
Economics course curriculum covers aspects like micro and macro economy, econometrics, statistics and various other subjects which help in understanding how the economy of a country operates and how scientific & historical theories are used to find solutions for an economy to function.
Placement Experience
The average salary package at our college is around Rs. 60,000 ? Rs. 1.68 lakhs which is pretty decent as compared to any other college. Almost all the students are able to get placements by the end of the academic year and this is because the students indulge themselves in training program which is quite helpful.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee for the first year was Rs. 3,450 and for the second and third year was Rs. 1,950 each. Thus, making a total of Rs. 7,350 for a 3 year long program. The college also provides financial help to students who are not able to afford the education.
Campus Life
Some of the extra-curricular activities at the college includes singing, dancing, playing chess, etc. Our college promotes the indulgence of students in such activities as they play a vital role in a student?s life. It is very important for the students to have a penetrating interest in these activities as they help them to focus better on their studies.
Admission
I completed my Bachelor in Economics from Annamalai University, Directorate of Distance Education in 2018. The admission process to get in is based on the marks scored in 10+2. Students should have studies economics till class 12th and should have scored a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
Faculty
The teachers at the college are well read and have a lot of knowledge apart from books. They teach the students by giving them real life examples of economies around the world and how they have sustained themselves. We used to have regular classes from Monday to Saturday.
