Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because in need of a degree to apply for government exams. The faculties were very friendly and approached persons with higher studies. Their teaching method is easily understandable and the notes given to us were very easy to study. Exams were up to date and the given notes helped us to study well and get good marks.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 2500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Every year we need to pay the fees of 2000 to 3500 with 2 installments each year. It makes us not feel any pressure of paying fees. I used to pay a total amount of less than 10,000 for 3 years of my course.

Campus Life

Every year the fest was conducted for all departments. Especially for the Arts department literature-based fest is conducted at every fresher's meet. All types of books and journals are available in the library.

Admission

A higher Secondary Certificate and Transfer Certificate is enough. The application form will be available in colleges and also in AU centres in each district of Tamil Nadu. Online admission is also available for each and every course.

Placement Experience:

The placements were okay in our college, it starts from the second year onwards in respect to diff degree. For economics it starts from 5th semester onwards. There were many companies who visited including goldman sachs, deloitte, zoho, tcs, accenture etc. and the package starts from 1,20,000 to 12,00,000 rupees per annum.

Madras School of Economics - A Comprehensive Review for Bachelor's

Course Curriculum Overview:

Has a lot of new age courses like MS Excel, Python and Data Science. It prepares you fairly well for roles like Data Analyst, Financial Modelling, etc. Areas for improvement include optimising the curriculum load as per the students. Two internals (one after a month after sem starts, second a few weeks before the end sem) and the end sem. I feel the end sem is relatively easier due to the preparation we endure for the internals.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Political science syllabus in our college is pretty upgraded. The way it's structured is also pretty good. For a student of Political Science, they first gives us an introduction of the discipline theoretically explaining the subject before moving to it's real life examples.
