Remarks

ULC is definitely the best place for students who wish to challenge themselves and stretch their potentialities. Our university has given birth to many supreme court and high court justices other than the many public sector employees. The quality education provided by ULC is a perfect blend of theoretical knowledge and practical skills which aids and equips our students to face the real life court.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is designed in such a way that it appears much challenging to the student. All of the content is chosen based on the extent to which it caters to bringing out students who will be successful law practitioners, teachers and business people. The syllabus is built around the different domains of law with a significant focus on economics. In addition to our regular lectures, many a time we receive guest lectures from the renowned law practitioners of the country. We also have periodic visits to courts and central prison which is a definite plus and golden feather in the course. End semester examinations and short tests throughout the semester are the basis of evaluation here.

Placement Experience

4.5

Our university has a placement cell that is an independent body run by the students in collaboration with the Chairman and the principal. They work not only by approaching potential recruiters for placements within and outside the campus, but they also help the students in getting internships in well-established firms. Siva and Co, Spectrum Legal, Just Law, Equitas Legal, Diwakara and Associates are some of the companies and associates who offer placements and internships. In fact, many of the passed out students are working in public sector firms, high court and other corporate sectors. The constant exposure to real-life simulations of situations benefits us and aids in achieving much-soughted positions in famous law establishments.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees pattern is very much economical and budget-friendly in comparison to the hefty amount required by many private law schools. For me, each year the fee is around 82,000. So in total after 5 years it will only amount to somewhere around 4,10,000. This is much feasible than many other institutions, where this might be the amount to paid per annum or semester.

Campus Life

We have many extracurricular activities, namely cultural and sports activities. In fact every year we hold a law festival called Jus Celebre, which includes a variety of cultural festivals. We also have All India Moot Court competitions where many institutions take part. Most of our students are active in the NSS and it provides us with a chance to go out in the field and know the grievances of the community. Being such a prestigious university we have students from many parts of the world and this adds to our rich culture.

Admission

Working in the field of law has been a dream for me ever since I can remember. During my higher secondary days itself I had started searching for an institution that is one of the best in the country. ULC was one of the top few among the list. So I gave my CLAT and got a pretty good score, and since I had satisfactory marks( atleast 45% is required) in my 10+2 I applied for the B.A. L.L.B course here and got in.

Faculty

4.5

Our faculty is one of the best among those in the other law schools of the country. They are much resourceful and qualified with a refreshing approach to teaching-learning. Various pedagogies are adopted by them throughout the semesters and all of them are very effective in shaping a successful future for us. The constructive criticism they provide goes a long way in bringing up the best lawyers of the nation.

Performing Arts have more of practical things as from acting to direction we are taught everything. History and Theory as some theory part and the kind of career path that our course provides, I think for students interested in this, should join our course at Christ University.

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th sem. The highest on campus package this year was around 64 LPA, while as far as I know, the top 20% of the students usually get offers in the 16-24LPA range. The overall placement rate is good, but results depend a lot on your skills and practice

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose electronics and communications wholeheartedly. Since my childhood, I was very interested in electronics and very humble in learning new topics in digital electronics. I was never a coding guy, so I took electronics and communications as my course. It was an easy choice for me. So class's average strength is around 65 to 70. And the faculty: student ratio is quite good. The teachers are well qualified and most of them are doctorate holders. The timetable is arranged in a manner such that there is smooth conduction of classes for all-year students. The exams are semester wise and there will be internals every month. Questions are better, you have to know little bit contents taught in classes and also from textbooks. It is easy to pass.
