Remarks

The college was really good. I would say if someone gets the opportunity to be a part of this college. That student must grab the opportunity without thinking much. I have lived the best college days of my life here. And every thing here is satisfactory and good.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course was of three years and the exams were semistar wise. The focus of the course was to prepare or strengthen our linguistic capabilities through both theoretical lessons and practical sessions.

Placement Experience

3

I haven't searched for a job after my graduation from here rather I chose to persue my post graduation in the same field. Also however the college do not provide with on campus placements but it did provided us with career guidence.

Fee Structure And Facilities

This college is a government college so the fees is very affordable for the students my total fees of three years in BA English (Hons.) Was Rs.3,000 which was even easily affordable for economically poor students.

Campus Life

The college use to conduct various extracurricular activities within the campus such as sports and games or cultural activities and even various seminars and workshops were also conducted by the college to impart better knowledge among us.

Admission

Admission in this college in Bachelor of Arts [BA] {Hons.} (English) was on the basis of my merit in the Academic year (10+2) and the college took the total merit of the main 5 subjects that I have scored. The basic eligibility for admission in this college was to be qualified in 10+2 From West Bengal or other equivalent board. And minimum of 45% in the core 5 subjects was must for the eligibility in hons. Course.

Faculty

4

The faculty was fluent in the linguistic skills of English. And that made us improve our linguistic skills in English. They were well qualified and experienced teachers. And have set a stronger foundation for us in English.

Course Curriculum Overview:

We were held a class for upto 1hrs, thus we had 4 class a day. Sometimes it is boaring sometimes it becomes striking, it depends on the mood. It is to say little knowledge is a dangerous thing, if you don't read you cannot pass the semester examination. Although it will provide you a second chance. But with change of syllabus the exam pattern also change. You need to attain a total percentage of 75(%) to maintain you honours subject otherwise you would be regarded as programme course student.
