The splendid days of my life

The course curriculum was dynamic in nature. The course curriculum was according to the latest requirement and focused on the practical application of the theoretical framework. The methodology of teaching was research-oriented where we had to apply the theories in case studies and situations.

The placement opportunities need some improvements but currently available opportunities are also satisfactory. The big firms like Wipro, ONGC, TechMahindra come and offer jobs to the students. The highest package can be somewhere around rupees 10 lakh per year and the average package can be around rupees 2 lakh per year.

Our college organises seminars, workshops, debate competitions, donation drives and many other extracurricular activities. Our college has a fully air-conditioned gym and also personal coaches who provide guidance to those wish to become bodybuilders in future. These students also represent our college in several inter-university competitions.

The fee is quite low in comparison to the other colleges offering the same course. The fee for BCA is around 13,000 for a year and around 40,000 for the entire course of 3 years which is quite nominal and affordable as well.

The infrastructure of our college is well maintained. There are sports grounds and fields. Well equipped lecture halls, video conferenc centres and facilities for virtual learning are in place. The cafeteria is also spacious and hygienic.

There are separate hostels for girls and boys. The rooms can have double or triple sharing depending upon their size. The rooms have an uninterrupted supply of power and water 24*7. The facility of hot water is provided during summers. Each floor has a water cooler attached to R.O. common rooms are equipped with recreational facilities.

Alumni meet is organised annually. Students dance and play games. Pass out students share their work and higher education experiences. The newcomers get a chance to interact with them and gain important lessons from them.

I got the admission on the basis of merit in class 12. I enquired about the course at the college. The university's counsellor explained to me everything in detail and he was also very attentive to my questions and responded to me in a friendly manner. After that, I filled an application form and submitted it along with rupees 1000.

The faculty of the college is well trained and knowledgeable. Many of them have several years of experience while some have less experience. The teaching methods are quite interesting and every student can understand the course easily. They are helpful and friendly.
