Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum for Botany is pretty much the upgraded as most of the renowned Universities. The laboratories of the department were good in condition with all the apparatuses. All the classes were extremely helpful for examinations.

Placement Experience

Counseling programs and events are quite regular in the campus. They help the students to know the future prospects and other opportunities of the subject. The college also has a master's program for students who want to continue with academics.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure for B.Sc in Botany is 21,000 INR with a duration span of three years. It is not very expensive and I found the fees budget-friendly. It included nearly all the other charges in that particular sum.

Campus Life

SVU keeps organizing extra-curricular activities within the campus for students. I did not see any kind of intolerance or discrimination on the basis of gender, race, religion, sex, or any other thing.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni and senior students are very kind. Whenever I needed advice, they were beside me. As per academics, they keep informing us about the courses we can do further after finishing the course successfully.

Admission

To get selected in the college I had to give an SVU Common Entrance Test (SVUCET) and then appear for personal counseling. The process was not very complex and everything happened without any inconvenience.

Faculty

The faculty members of the college are qualified as per their domain. All the professors have their own interesting approaches to teaching. I really enjoy the classes as it has taught me a lot. Also, they are extremely supportive and motivating.

Course Curriculum Overview:

BCA is really relevant for todays technology upgradations going on in world. I was into tech and coding so i opted BCA and since college is accessible by metro and have good name so i took admission in it and i regret not. Curriculum is up to date and changes yearly as required in recent technology and ties up with trends. There is no space for improvement as of now. Exams happen frequently like class test ans assignments and they make u study from scratch so there is no difficulty its moderate.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good. Companies that hire for Electrical core: Nvidia, Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, Bajaj etc. Software/Quant compaines open to Electrical: Squarepoint Capital, NK Securities, Google, Microsoft etc. The % of students getting placed are 85%. Average package is 29.33 lpa. I have got an internship in Nvidia Software.

The best college one can find.

The first requirement for the admission is that the candidate has to pas 10+2 examination in their respective board. I scored good grades in my 10+2. Then I also appeared for JEE mains and UPSEE. My UPSEE score was really good and hence upon counselling i got selected in the college for admission. There is also SVU Common Entrance Test (SVUCET).
