Course Curriculum Overview
There are two different courses available in Avadh Girls Degree College. The courses are B.A and B.com, Bachelor of Arts [BA] (Anthropology), Bachelor of Arts [BA] (Education), Bachelor of Arts [BA] (Geography), Bachelor of Arts [BA] (English), Bachelor of Arts [BA] (History), Bachelor of Arts [BA] (Hindi), Bachelor of Arts [BA] (Economics), Bachelor of Arts [BA] (Political Science), Bachelor of Arts [BA] (Psychology). Exams are semester wise. Timing for b.com is 8:20 -11 am. Assignments and projects are given every 6 months.
Placement Experience
Many students were placed. Around 50% of students were placed. The maximum salary offered was INR 20,000. Many companies visited our college. Many students liked this college, as it provides a good salary and good placements. The salary package is also good. Students also got an internship in the best companies Roles offers.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure in Avadh Girls Degree College is very feasible Avadh Girls' Degree College, [AGDC] Lucknow fee structure is ? 7,586/year. A student will get scholarship in college if she has 75% of attendance in the college. The fee is not very high. I paid INR 16000 in the first year and INR 18000 in the second and third year for a b.com course
Campus Life
The college offers many extracurricular activities like football, basketball, band group and many more. Department has been conducting Campus sports activities, Inter Collegiate tournaments and Inter University Sports competitions every year
Alumni/Alumna
An interactive session on career counselling and motivation is given by alumni people to the students in the college. The alumni network here in this university is very much active as compared to other universities and colleges. Senior students are helpful in many needs by the first year students and their juniors. So this alumni network is very much helpful.
Admission
The admission process in Avadh Girls Degree College is of two ways. One is Offline Admission and the other Online admission. In Offline admission a candidate has to fill the application form by going to the college in admission for B.com the cut offs starts from 95%+ so for getting admission in B.Com it is important to secure at least 75% in 12th grade for BA cut offs are low and for B.Com, every list have high cut offs
Faculty
Faculty is very much helping if child wants to study or curious about any topics, if child is interested in any other topic apart from studies teachers are ready to help in that also. They make class interesting by sharing their experience which can help in future. Each department has its own faculty members. Every subject has been handled by staffs who are well experienced in their field. The staff members are also very helpful to their students in every manner. They also give special attention to students who are in help of them during the exams by providing them extra coaching classes apart from the college hours. Teachers provide education for exams purpose the education provided is not suitable for industry. The university maintains a well ordered faculty system .The faculty is very supportive and appreciative of our learning efforts.
