SHIATS-CET & AIEEE. The stream which i opted was electrical and electronics engineering. I opted this particular course because in this course we were exposed to both the fundamental engineering brances. We did have a very wide area of research and development. The avenues are both in electrical engineering as well as electronics engineering.

It was very widely distributed from every fundamental engineering, science and mathematics to the focused electrical and electronics engineering subjects. Electives were in the field of upcoming and recent technologies, entrepreneurship and business and management ethics.

I did my internship in the Ericsson Pvt. Ltd. and i got the stipend of Rs. 10000/ month. I learned a lot about networking, transmission of the packet data, mobile communications , etc. The trainer was very nice. He use to explain everything to me in a very good manner along with his work. That truly shows his dexterity. The technicians were very helpful.

There were many recruitment drives took place in the college campus. Companies were. HCL, package - 3.5 lacs/ annum, Ericsson, 2.8 lacs/annum, International tractors 6 lacs/annum, Triveni electricals, 3 lacs/ annum, etc.

We had a techno-cultural fest named INNOVOLUTION. It was an interuniversity festival on national level. There were around 20 technical & 25 cultural events. More than 20 institutions participated in the events. Colleges like NIT, IIIT, etc also marked their presence in the fest.

Fee structure was a bit expensive but there were many other avenues like scholarships, fee waiver and concessions on the behalf of academic excellence.

Yeah, we had the scholarships funded by church, government and private institutions. Also, if one is not financially well could get the fee concession. And the fee waiver for academically outstanding students.

Campus life was fun. We had a huge play ground for sports like football, hockey, cricket, etc. Apart from this we had a basket ball court and the volleyball court. We could also enjoy the indoor games like badminton and table tennis in the very well maintained badminton court.

Hostel rooms were awesome. It was fun living in hostels. We had a wide choice of the facilities. One could opt for a low budget hostel, a medium one and the most lavish one in the capmus only. Apart from campus one could find a PG out there in the area very easily. The PG's rent varied from 700-2000 per month.

The faculty particularly in my department was fabulous. The lectures were very nice. They use to solve every problem we encountered very easily. They use to guide us in everything, either it was related to studies or it was personal. Apart from studies they use to organise some event where the interaction between studentams and teachers grow more.
