Course Curriculum Overview

The duration of the course is 5 years. The course curriculum is designed by the Bar Council of India. In order to facilitate learning, various moot court competitions are held so that the students can experience the atmosphere of actual court rooms.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placements are decent in our college. Various corporate firms come to recruit students. Internship opportunities are also provided by the college to its students. The placement is done on the basis of merit and not only on the basis of entrance examination. The command over the English Language communicative skills are also taken into consideration.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The total fees of the course is INR 71,000 for 5 years. The fees is feasible and much cheaper than what other Law Universities charge from its students. Scholarships are also given to meritorious students by the government .

Campus Life

A number of events are organised such as MUNs, Moot competitions, quiz contests, debates, cultural fests, annual fest etc. Keeping in mind the cultural and regional diversity, all the festivals are celebrated with great enthusiasm and ardour.

Faculty

4

Faculty is professional and supportive. They teach with great enthusiasm and zeal. They create an interactive environment in the class so that every student gets a chance to participate and speak. They all are from the top colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the curriculum is well planned, balanced and easy to follow. We start with the basics and along with theory there's a good amount of coding practice, assignments, and hands on learning. I like that the course isn't just about passing exams, it also focuses on building skills that will be useful later for internships and placements. So far it feels relevant, practical and not overwhelming for someone who's just starting out.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The BA English curriculum at the Central University of Karnataka is comprehensive and academically relevant. The course covers British Literature, American Literature, Indian Writing in English, Literary Theory, Linguistics, and Cultural Studies, providing students with a strong foundation in language and literature. The interdisciplinary approach under NEP and the availability of electives were among the factors that influenced my decision to choose this course.
