Vivekananda Law College, Puttur was established in the year 1988-89 with an aim to meet the demands of the students who seek legal education in South EastIndia especially in the areas of Dakshina, Kannada District, Kodagu and other places sharing the boundaries with the districts of Karnataka and Kasaragod area of Kerala. The college aspires at offering high standard education by offering all the facilities essential for the students to complete their studies in a methodical way. The college adopted Nyayen Dharyathe Lokah as its motto, whichmeans,“The structure of the world is kept in balance by justice”. The founders also believe that no professional, education, or otherwise will be valuable by the name of the conveying instruction in various branches of wisdom is not paid attention for shaping of character in a proper way.

Admission:

I choose this college because it provides good infrastructure, hostel facility,delicious canteen meals etc. When it vomes sports category it gives lot of opportunity to the students. You can get admission to the Bachelor of Law (LLB) on the basis of scores of the last qualifying examination followed by the counseling procedure conducted by the college. The registration process for the course has not yet started for the 2023 academic session.

Yes, Vivekananda Law College, Puttur have separate hostel facilities for Boys and Girls. The total fees is Rs. 40,000 per year. You have to deposit a refundable caution fee of Rs. 5,000. The food charges will be around Rs. 3,500 per month
