Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is well designed in the notion of research work to be followed. The courses are highly advanced and helps us to think out of the box. The exams are mostly conducted yearly with mid semester examinations.

Placement Experience

2

The major drawback of this college could be in terms of placement opportunities. The college has very few tie-ups with industries, and lack a formal training students regarding industrial skills. The college also gives permission to attend internships provided by different institutions and industries to get exposure of the process and manufacturing units.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure for my course is not a problem to pay. It is feasible and affordable by the families to arrange them without the need of any educational loans. I had paid around 5000 INR per semester and examination fees and other events fees are also collected from time to time.

Fees and Financial Aid

I was not eligible for any scholarship program offered by the college. It gives fees relaxation to the students who belong to the minor communities and also to students whose caste is SC/ST. The college strictly follows the scholarship program, only after the submission of income and community certificates,

Campus Life

The college conducts various activities and competition. The singing, dancing, painting, essay writing, quizzes, debates, etc., are some of the competitions and also a higher level cultural fests and annual day are celebrated once in a year. The lab facilities are good and there is no provisions for students to play games.

Hostel Facilities

There are no hostel facilities provided by the college, but the around the college premises,we have lots of hostels for both girls and boys, and other PGs also. The minimum rentals in which you can find the place to accommodate starts from around 2500-3000 INR.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is good. The students who are successful in their careers are mostly invited to the college to provide insights to the life they underwent after graduation. The seniors are really helpful and are the way to go guides after any situation which arises.

Admission

The college admission process fully dealt in online mode. There is no need for anything to be submitted through offline process. The college admits students on the basis of merit and for my department the senior secondary education examination marks are considered where you should have scored an minimum of 60% aggregate in all the subjects.

Faculty

4

The faculties are really good and experienced in their domain. They are more broad minders and adapt to the updates very quickly. They even allows to follow the same when it comes to academics and we need to be thorough in our field. And the most important, they are easy to approach and help you out whenever needed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are several prospects, especially peer-to-peer counseling, where you get a mentor. We call it mentor mentee program. So, there will be groups of students, and each group will have a mentor who helps you whenever you face any issues whether in real life or in your academic journey. They’re always there for you. There are also remedial classes, and extracurricular activities are included in the curriculum. You even get the freedom to choose what you want to pursue creatively, like joining poetry clubs and similar groups. Right now, I’m at Banaras University, and the curriculum here is really good. We have sessions on public speaking, how to conduct interviews, and many other practical skills. These are highly commendable because they help you in professional situations like the one I’m in now. However, I would say that teachers could be a bit more active with electronic tools like using PPT presentations or audio-visual methods instead long lecture sessions. As for exams, I wouldn’t say they’re too difficult because there are many weekly assessments and sessionals, which actually help you evaluate yourself better.
