My College Journey

The course was of 2 years in which we were taught structure, function, anatomy, physiology of various animals. The course included subjects like Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Taxonomy and Invertebrate Studies, Insect biology and Physiology, Comparative Anatomy of Vertebrates and such. The course had theoretical as well as practical sessions.

The college has a placement cell which organizes pre placement talks, personality development sessions, entrepreneur programs. Very few companies like airtel, few banks, some research centres have recruited students in last years. But the students from our departments can be employed at various posts like Animal Trainer , Wildlife Educator, Associate Research Scientist, Zoology teaching trainee and many more.

The fee expenses for first year are Rs.1,263 and for second year it was Rs.953. This total sums up to be Rs.2,216. The fee at the institute can be afforded by anyone. The fee is quite cost effective as compared to other colleges.

Tournaments, sports meet, world environment day are celebrated. The college also holds numerous seminars, debates, drama events. These activities uplift the confidence of students and gives them break from studies.

I submitted the application form after reading all the instructions online. The form had to be filled with legit details, academic record of X and XII and various documents have to be uploaded. Few weeks later they will release the cut off list and if your name is in the list you will be called for counselling in the campus.

Faculty members used class time effectively and efficiently and highlighted the main ideas. They used to Deliver a well-structured lesson and were excited about teaching. They maintained confidentiality with every student and had integrity and honesty in all dealings with students.
