Student review on Madura college Madurai

The amount of knowledge I gained form my course curriculum is somewhat less because there is no practical implementation of the knowledge we gained as we should Make an intern after the course so that we could apply what we practice in the college but sometimes it gets hard due to no previous real-time experience.

I got an government merit scholarships in the college as of my good marks in 12th grade where people under this merit scheme gets only 3000per semester as fees. Apart from that scholarship is provided by the college for the person with some extra mark in the later semesters who can't avail seat in government merit.

I would say the infrastructure is not that good but it's perfect for an affordable and comfortable manner. Club activities are conducted annually and inter college competition is also conducted and people from our college will also participate in other colleges. Overall campus life was safe and secure but still need improvement in the infrastructure.

There is no entrence exam conducted in the college but an merit based for a class of 60 /25 seats are given. They have to get more than 90% in their higher secondary grade.. and that too on percentage base the descending order is practiced till the 25 seats are reserved.

They are well qualified for the subject they handled. Our hod was an cma regional incharge also so he guided students under bcom who want to pursue chartered accountants etc with well knowledge and experience.

First there was councelling for best Mark's scored in 12th for 15 -20 seats in my department for fees concession. And It all based on Marks there's no personal Interview and some 1 or 2 seats for sports quota.
