The college is promoting education in the north east. It is making sure they are not deprived of basic education in legal studies. It is an underrated college but it has produced some great lawyers who are working towards the development of the society.
Course Curriculum Overview
It is a five year dual course which grants arts as well as law degree. It focuses on the legal subjects which are in accordance with the bar council of India?s structure. It conducts the exams regularly.
Placement Experience
The placement is good and we have been offered an ordinary salary. Companies like KPMG, tarun brothers and associates, etc. visit the campus for the recruitment . The college provides placement assistance to the students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The total fee is ? 58,725. I paid around ?11,745 for the first year. Later I got to know that it charges the same amount for all the year that is ?11,745 has to be paid in five equal instalments. This reduces the burden of paying a bulk amount .
Campus Life
There is a good library which is accessible to the students. There are sports events that takes place annually. The college also has medical facility inside the campus. It also conducts cultural events.
Admission
I had to fill the application form to start the admission procedure. Later I was asked to submit all the necessary documents along with the pre-degree certificate. It considers a minimum of 45% marks with English being a compulsory subject.
Faculty
The faculty members are the retired judges, senior advocates etc. who have been taking the class. Their lectures are do informative as they try to share their practical experiences of the cases they have dealt with.
