Course Curriculum Overview
The course is well defined and similar to other B.TECH colleges. The course consists of research-oriented subjects as well and focuses on application. The labs are nicely built and available for students anytime. There are many undergraduate and postgraduate course along with research. The exam would be held twice an academic year. The course curriculum is maintained by both the students and the staff.
Placement Experience
The placements are decent. University Students Counselling and Placement Cell (USCPC) has been strengthened to cater to the needs of university students from the faculties of Veterinary, Food Technology, Dairy Technology and Poultry Technology for their placements in various institutions reputed nationally and internationally. The internship is compulsory to all students and college would list out certain companies
College Events
The college also allows students to relax during the year by conducting many events and celebrations. There are many events, festivals, and competitions celebrated in the college campus. The final year students in the college are also being guided by many guest lectures and workshops from the authentic resource person. These persons may be from the college alumni at times.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee is feasible at 21,415/- INR for the first year, 17,590/- INR for the second and third year, and 15,270/- INR for the fourth year. The total fee for the whole course of undergraduate is 71,865/- INR. The fee should be paid at the beginning of each academic year. The fee would be wavered by the scholarships too.
Campus Life
The college has many extracurricular activities. Apart from the course, the students are indulged in sports and other activities. The laboratories are fantastic, as equipment quality was high. Every student has individual equipment in working condition. We have a very good atmosphere at college and a good ambiance. There are inter college and intra college competitions.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is well maintained in the college which is run by the limited number of senior students. Many lectures are given by the alumni in the college to the students. They speak about their experience and their career life they boost up the student life in the college. The alumni people support and provide guidance to college whenever needed.
Admission
The admission process in the college is through a qualifying exam followed by counselling. Students could get the admission form online on the college website or offline on the college campus. Along with the application form the required documents should be Through merit and under counselling the students would get admitted to the college The students must have passed the last qualification with at least 60% aggregate marks. The students also must be the residents of Tamil Nadu. The admission is based on the merit list generated based on marks obtained in the Entrance Exam.
Faculty
The faculty in the college are highly resourceful and helpful in every way. Highly qualified faculties are in the college who would encourage the students to lead the students. The faculty members of our department would take extra care and concern for the students to complete their courses. Each faculty is highly graduated with their specialization.
