Course Curriculum Overview

The course is well organized in a span of three years. The theory lectures and practicals are well scheduled. The curriculum is framed to provide deep insight into the subjects. For me, books are easy to understand and the practicals and projects are relevant to the syllabus. The exams don't only test the bookish knowledge but also the level of understanding of the subject by the students.

Placement Experience

5

There is a placement cell in the university, I haven't been a part of it but will be joining it next year. The university holds a good name in placements. Being a B.Sc graduate I will be getting an opportunity to be an intern or assistant in the relevant companies. Notably, TCS and Wipro visit our university for placement purposes.

College Events

5

A campus is a vibrant place where the different happenings take place in different departments all year long. The campus stays occupied with workshops, seminars, rehearsals, or simply the chit chat between the groups. Cultural activities are an integral part of campus life. In my department, we students take the whole responsibility for many activities.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The total fees for my three years B.Sc course is 10K including tuition fees, exam fees, etc. This fee is needed to be paid in three installments and seems appropriate in comparison to other universities' fees. It varies depending upon the reservation and scholarship eligibility(if applicable). There is a library with all the required syllabus and reference books to reduce the cost of books.

Campus Life

Apart from everyone's dearest sports, the University grants the opportunity to participate in NCC and NSS. Moreover, educational tours are arranged every year. The students are encouraged and supported to participate in various intra-college and inter-college competitions of extracurricular activities like performing arts, debates, etc.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is well furnished with beds, cupboards, study tables, electricity, water supply, wifi, and greenery. The food provided here is okay and the hostel life is an enjoyable experience here. It's been 1 and a half year I am living in a hostel where I got my best friends. The annual fee of the hostel is around Rs 40,000.

Alumni/Alumna

Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the first vice president of India, graduated from this university. Also, G. Thilakavathi, Durai Murugan, D.Raja are some other famous alumni. The seniors here are very supportive towards the juniors as they look upon the juniors as new team members in their academic clubs and now I am carrying on the tradition being a senior for first-year students.

Admission

I got admission on the basis of the cutoff and merit list for the B.Sc course. The admission process was online and the form was available on the university's website. Before the last date, the admission form, HSC passing certificate, identity, and payment proof was submitted and now I am in the second year of my course, and each year the admission procedure needs to be followed.

Faculty

5

Faculty is very supportive and under their guidance the course becomes feasible. Most are experienced professors and assistants. Their expertise in academics and class handling is apparent in the lectures. Professor to students ratio is satisfactory. The faculty also promotes the interaction of the students with the experts of the latest technologies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum behind or campus is very much updated and it is changing as the technology changes. As the present world is engaging with computer and artificial intelligence,I want to improve more knowledge and also want to compete with others. The time table and the devlopment technology followed by our university is devoloped so that only placement are recorded with high percentage when compared to other. The improvement should be observed only regarding labs.We have write examination for every 30 or 40 days , because there are 3 internal test ,semester and lab exams.Actually time is not sufficient but we have to do hardwork.when compared to other universities or colleges our exams arebwry hard.

IN EACH DRIVE, AROUND 10 TO 20 COMPANIES COME IN SEARCH OF POTENTIAL EMPLOYEE FOR THEIR COMPANY. THE PLACEMENT DRIVE USUALLY STARTS AT 9 IN THE MORNING AND ENDS AROUND 5 IN THE EVENING. THE average package THAT A STUDENT USUALLY gets is AROUND 300000RS. COMPANIES LIKE HDFC AND OTHER COME FOR PLACEMENT.
