Course Curriculum Overview

We were provided with many respective activities, we got chances to work with actors. We have three hour theory class and eight hour practical class. At the end of the course we are awarded the diploma certificate.

Placement Experience

Within this 6 months of course we are provided with internship from various production houses, we intern with top directors and film makers. Placement is provided from college once we complete our course and are ready to implement our skills.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Students can take direct admission by paying a fee of Rs.12,000 in their respective course specially if they are from abroad. I was acknowledge about the fee structure once i visited the campus and attained the counselling .

Campus Life

Our college organize film festival where we students of all the department need to submit our films we made, national and international awards are given, we need to pitch the producers and film makers and gain as much as we can.

Hostel Facilities

We are provided with top class hostels with all the amenities , hostel is fully furnished with air conditioner in each room of three students. Hostel is available for both national and international students.

Admission

I applied for this college by filling up the online application form from the college's website, later i was sent a invitation letter from the college for joining the academy. For international students the admission fee was $600 and for national students Rs.12,000.

Our faculties are our motivators they have worked in many production houses and have knowledge about film making and direction. We are trained well under their supervision , they provides us with platform where we can work and achieve success.

DY Patil college is best for placement and coding environment

Placement Experience:

The placement is good in Y Patil College. Many companies are come for hiring a student. Most of students are placed in fourth year from fourth year. The companies are started to come in campus and higher students. Also, in a third year, Student want to get internship in any companies from campus and from outside of the campus internship is compulsory in third year last semester The company are come in my college are Amazon Google infosys Microsoft WIpro and other companies hire students The highest package of last year of AI and DS department is a 42 lakh higher by Amazon is the highest package of the last year placement. Also, the average packages are six lakh. The percentage of getting Student place in companies are nearly 92%

The college is best for placement and club activity

Placement Experience:

In my branch, the placement is good In 2025, 150 students are placed in Wipro, infosys, Amazon and Google like companies the minimum package is seven lakh. Also in my branch one Student it is placed in Amazon with 47 lakh rupees package in college. They already prepare Student for interviews and aptitude test. The placement cell is conduct aptitude test with the Google for students for each semester in that they test our coding skills, English skills and attitude test from that they give us a detail information in which skills are lacking and on which skill we want to work

Course Curriculum Overview:

Strong academic legacy with expereinced faculties and balanced content- preparing you for future studies and entrance exams and olympiads. very much strict, i would say not needed. somehwere you may experience baised behaviour; but when you are focused on gaining knowledge then these things dont matter as its only a matter of three years. Relevance of course is there but for applying for further studies not for that much for job prospects, if you want atleast a decent salary job.

From the 7th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placement drive. Companies that often visit campus for placement include ONGC, GAIL, IGL, IOCL, NRL, SAIL, Hindalco, Carin oil and gas, Reliance, Vedanta, Tata Power, Nyara, Tata projects and many more oil and gas industries, metal industries. The highest package: is 24 lpa ( given by ONGC) and the average package: is 13 lpa for Fire and safety profiles. Usually, all students get placed in the placement drive. I will do the job in the company I got placed in.

Placement Experience:

I have rarely seen companies coming to our college for placement purposes for our course but I have seen companies coming for BCOM and BCA. I don't know about my course as I am currently in my second year. The percentage of students getting placements are veryess as my friend from third year said that out of 150 students only 10 students got placed this year which is very less compared to other colleges. My plans after getting the degree is if I got a job in any of the it company I will do it for experience and side by side I am planning to pursue my education in MSC CS
