Remarks
I choose this college because due to certain health issues i could not get admission in Delhi University although i cleared the exams. As I reside in Noida only IMS Noida has a good reputation for LLB course. Since there were seats left so I took admission a little late and got the admission. The good thing about the college is that the infrastructure is good neat and clean classes and an amazing library. Other than that there is a field for sports a canteen although the quality of the canteen is not that good but it gets the work done. The teachers here are competent and very helpful the Head of department Law will help you out if you need any help regarding the course or employment or Internship. If you're a working person who cannot attend daily classes you can get admission in the working class batch and only attend class on weekend only. There are campus placement also but not much. You can also carry on internship with the classes and get exempted from attendance for a month.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because I'm from a family of Judges and lawyers so i had interest in the same. There is enough faculty for every subject and the number of students is also not too many so the teacher can give attention to each and everyone of them. Most of the teacher have a LLB and LLM degree and some of then have done PHD in law as well. There are 6 semesters they are held around December for odd semester and around May for even semester. The questions in the exam are neither easy nor very difficult. If you take classes daily you will develop enough skills to clear the exams easily as you lean it gets easier and easier to clear every exam. Although sometimes the questions are tricky and based on cases so you will have to study each subject in detail so that you don't miss our any provision in a statute and landmark cases.
Internships Opportunities
The internship opportunities are not made available by the college but the faculty if they have any contacts. There were many internships available but in each of them the limit was usually 2 to 6 students and the stipend varied from 2 to 6 thousand rupees
Placement Experience
Final semester students are eligible for campus placement however there are not many companies that to this college for campus placement. In my time there was no campus placement non of the students were placed from LLB course. My plans after LLB is to pursue LLM and side by side practice in litigation and prepare for various Government services related to Law and also to look into teaching profession.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee for One year for LLB is 80,000 rupees and you have to pay around 1500 rupees for exam form every semester. There is no fee hike unless a new infrastructure is being provided to the students like installation of ac in every room. During my time it was asked to us if we need ac then we will have to pay Rs 1000 around but since it was out last year we refused other than that every semester you have to pay rupees 500 for freshers party and for farewell party but not in the final semester. There are scholarship available for people who have scored good marks in their graduation. If your financial situation is not very good then you can pay the fee in installments. There are no on campus jobs
Campus Life
There are many fest that are held usually around Holi festival and many random fest every month or two. Most of the books on law are available in the library on each subject and enough to provide for each and every student other than that their are past judgements also available, previous your question papers as well. The class has a white board a projector and comfortable seats although there are no ac but the classes are pretty airy and cool. There are many sports activities like cricket, football, badminton and volleyball and many competition are also held. There are sports club, debate club, right to information club and many other.
Admission
Interview
Interview Experience
There was no group discussion but a personal interview the questions were about basic law relating to constitution law, criminal law, law of torts and contract if you have applied for any other entrance exam for LLB course then you would have studied all these subjects in short. The admission process is easy you just have to give an on spot interview if you have cleared it then you have to give your details and you past qualifications and a migration certificate from your past college. You can easily prepare for the interview by buying a guide book on LLB entrance tests or you can buy books of the basic subjects and study them on your own.
