The student start their internship after the third semester itself. And the college itself has a radio named as salaam namaste where we learn alot. The radio has won various national awards and the team consists of the students itself hence it is very helpful for our future.

The range and accessibility of books and journals available in the library are quite good. The faculty brings specialist to give us special class on different topics to teach us more. The are many sports like cricket, football, basketball, taekwondo, boxing, etc and we participate in different competitions aswell. There are dance, singing, sports, radio, and various other clubs for students offered.

Admission

I applied to galgotias university, Amity University, Bennett University, IMS gaziabad, DY Patil International University Pune and IMS Noida. I chose IMS Noida over others because the college gives good exposure for students to learn and the fees is also quite relevant. No, I was accepted in all the other colleges I applied for. The addmission is merit based, you need to give an interview and entrance test. Then you can be directly get addmission to the college.

Faculty

5

The faculty to students ratio would be 30:70. The faculty is very helpful, kind and understanding. They are very approachable. Asha ma'am who teaches Hindi journalism is very helpful and understanding. Our HOD Dr. Sachin Batra sir, he tries to solve any problem facing by students as soon as possible. Other faculty like, Lalit sir, monu sir, akansha ma'am they all are also very helpful and understanding. There are external and internal exams twice every semester. Most of the students pass the exam and it is very relevant to the course curriculum.

Other Applied Colleges

DY Patil International University - [DYPIU] | Bachelor of Arts [BA] (Journalism and Mass Communication)

Placements of our colleges and mediocre. From 6th semester students become elegible for campus placement. The highest package offered was 6LPA and the average package is 3-4 LPA. Placement depends upon the students applying for placement through college. Many students gets internships or jobs by themselves before even reaching placement cell.

Students become eligible for placement during their final year of college. DME offers several different companies that it has tie ins with for placements to students such as Gadgets 360, Aaj Tak, Myntra, PTI and D&P. 70-80% students get a good placement package. My personal plan following graduation is to pursue my higher education in correspondence with employment.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself was nothing out of the ordinary material, it teaches you the basics of the field but the faculties were pretty good and helped us understand not just the basic but a little more so that we could actually be able to work in the environment once we get there. Also they organise workshops which was mandatory for all the students without any extra charge to learn from professional what to do and how to do it best. We also used to get projects which actually helped alot in learning with practice the theory.
