Getting into the institute was not at all easy. I sat for an entrance exam which got coupled with some other procedures to secure a sit here. However, the hard work finally paid off at the end. It is a great college coming with all the latest infrastructural requirement that is sufficient for a student in media industry
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum covers all the latest subjects, topics and ideas related to journalism. It is an 11 months program. My college also offers some other good postgraduate programs and certificate courses as well. Additionally, my college covers all the industrial spectrum along with all the necessary practical scopes
Placement Experience
My college provides its student with astonishing placement facilities. Renowned organizations appear every year to conduct the placement program. During my time, corporates such as NEWS nation, Tez NEWS, India Samvad came in. I got placed in a notable company and now doing great in my professional life.
Fee Structure And Facilities
I paid around 3Lakh which might seem huge to invest in a post-graduation diploma course. Well, it is not the case. Once I completed the tenure I totally understood the gravity of the program. Therefore, in my opinion, the fees structure is absolutely feasible.
Fees and Financial Aid
Unfortunately, there is nothing like a scholarship facility or student loan that is being offered from my college. However one of my friends opted for a student loan from PSB. In no time it was availed to her to complete the academic sessions without any hassle.
Campus Life
My college is equipped with a sophisticated library that updates itself from time to time with all the latest magazines and journal to help with studies. Additionally, there is a nice conference room, editing room and excellent classroom that genuinely suffice all the academic demands. My college never missed an opportunity to host small events to encourage a positive environment inside the campus.
Admission
The admission procedure starts with an entrance exam then followed by an evaluation of your essay score than a formal interview. After passing all these steps the dean then personally evaluates each student? progress then approves or disapproves accordingly. Although it was pretty tiresome. But after I saw my name on the list it genuinely brought a smile in my face.
Faculty
The college comes with remarkable faculty that knows their specialization well. Additionally, they offer their helping hand to each and every student whenever they need any help. They are a great combination of teacher and mentor.
