The duration of the course is two years which focuses on the teaching skills and to inculcate experience which is required for the management of cultural activity of the tourism sector and cultural heritage. It aims to provide the students the necessary background for cultural activity and to develop critical thinking to act globally & locally in order to create a pool of cultural & heritage professionals who are capable of working anywhere in the world.

The highest package which was grabbed by one of my seniors was 11 lpa. The average was 5 lpa. Almost 80% of my batch mates got placed this year into some reputed universities. The rest 20% chose to go for government sector. Summer internships were also provided to students and the minimum stipend starts from 10,000 per month.

The fees tuition fees for one semester is 2460 and the total comes down to approx 7,660 which I consider is quite feasible and affordable.You need to separately pay the hostel & mess charges. Registration fees and security deposit is also made at the time of first year which is non refundable in nature.

The extension program at our college organises workshops , seminars, panel discussions, extension lectures, symposium etc so that the students gain more knowledge in their field of work.We are taken to study and field tours like visiting historic monuments, noted artists, art objects and important museums. We also have anti ragging cell to prevent the occurrence of any problem. Sports tournaments and cultural activities such as onam celebration, freshers day, farewell of seniors, holi, diwali, bihu is also conducted at our college.

There are separate hostels for both boys and girls with 100 student capacity each.All the hostels are supervised by the Superintendent and co-ordinated by the college warden.we have our own canteen right in the campus of Madanpur which provided food to the employees & students at very subsidized rates.We also have a guest house facility provided to special guests which visits our college.The library of the college has more than 1200 journals and 10,000 books.It is housed in the building of the campus itself.

You need to have secured 45% in your graduation from a recognized board. 5% seats are reserved for students belonging to SC/ST/OBC category.Apply online on the college website. Fill in all the necessary details. Then pay the application fees through credit or debit card.Take the print out and send that to the college address. My name appeared in the third merit list and I was called for document verification. Thereafter I was granted admission in the college.

The teachers of the college are really very qualified individuals. They have a teaching experience of 10+ years. every doubt of ours are solved on their behalf . They also give us assignments in order to check that whether we are understanding the subject or not. Overall all my teachers are very helpful.
