Course Curriculum Overview
We had a thesis as well as a non-thesis part but I chose the research one which was a career and core oriented and helped to get better in my stream. Also, we had several papers to submit as our exam now and then which must be acknowledged by the faculty.
Placement Experience
For the placement interviewers, there were companies from corporate sectors, private sectors offering several higher packages to the Ph.D. candidates. We had several research projects to work on at the campus itself to enhance practical skills.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As seen from the Ph.D. course perspective, the figures to pay were only 12,000 as the tuition and 5,000 as several extra inclusive fees. Therefore, for one particular any candidate have to pay 17,000 merely which was the most feasible amount as per my view.
Campus Life
We had a model-making activity after which the faculty assessed the work at the campus and also announced the next core activities like faculty-student meet. Students participated in research- work activities, seminars in labs with some extensive topics for a detailed discussion.
Hostel Facilities
Some candidates preferred to stay at the hostel which was at the campus itself with all the appropriate and relevant services for the ease of students. Here, generally, the students share the rooms and every student had private amenities like study table and cupboard for storage.
Admission
The structure was my core stream in the master's curriculum so I preferred to do the last degree I can achieve in structural engineering which was Doctor of Philosophy. It was quite tough to get in but though I applied at the online portal with almost all the documents, I got my offer letter lately.
Faculty
Particularly in our department, we had extraordinarily knowledgeable, and skilled faculties to explain to us the actual and practical aspects of the stream. As they took much interest in the research, we can understand most of it is merely one effective lecture.
