Course Curriculum Overview

The duration of the course is 2 years and during this time period, students are trained very well in the field of science and engineering. More importance is given to practical exposure and learning .

Placement Experience

The average package that is offered is 8 lacs. Recruiters mostly include research institutes and sometimes IT companies. They recruit students not only on the basis of academic skills,but also on the basis of how well we can communicate.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees has to be submitted at the starting of the semester. The fees which has to be paid per year is INR 48,000. The amount is not high keeping in mind the facilities and various opportunities that are provided by the college.

Campus Life

Ample amount of extra curricular activities are held in our college. All the students participate with great interest and enthusiasm. Cultural activities are also organised keeping in mind the ethnicity of the college.

Admission

The eligibility criteria is that the student should be graduated in the following streams:- B.Tech/B.Sc (Eng) in Civil Engineering/Construction Engineering/Building Science and Technology. Admission is done on the basis of merit.

"Overall, a satisfying college experience"

Placement Experience:

In our college students become elegible for placement after 5th and 6th sem . Preplacement drive such as aptitude test , coding session, group discussion may start from 4th sem . I'm not sure wether i take placement from my college or by myself but my goal after completing my degree is to take a repotative job as software engineer.

The feeling of being in IIT Roorkee

Placement Experience:

Placements are good as you all know its IIT. The avg package of all branches is still around 20 LPA . For CS its around 35-40 LPA. And for all other branches its greater than 15 LPA. Im a first year student so i have not seated in placement but there are so many companies that visit iit roorkee for placements, like google,microsoft, ibm, oracle, etc Highest package secured by a student this year is 1.5 crore. Nearly 95 percent of students get placed every year for sure. My plans after degree is to get placed and do my job.

I choose this college because it is a GFTIs college and here the curriculum is good and structured in a right direction . The curriculum prepares us very well about the real - world application based problems and it too good . Improvement should be there in the infrastructure and case based problems should be there and more advancement in the technology is needed. Timing of exams are of 3 hrs. Difficulty level is moderate .

IIT ROORKEE - A SCRUPULOUS REVIEW

Placement Experience:

Iit roorkee provide better Placement opportunities than any other college. It has it's placement and intership cell . Gold man Sachs, JP Morgan Chase, graviton and quantbox are the big recruiters which visit my college. Placement are good with average package of 1800000 per annum. If someone don't get on campus then cell helps in getting off campus placement. Enormous amd strong alumini network helps in getting off campus placement.

Our college curriculum is relevant to our course in this field we save lives of many patients which influenced me the most that's why I always wanted to become a doctor. After the inter introduction of clinical posting we get early exposure to the patients which prepare us for real word application of our knowledge.
