Memorable Journey towards becoming a Doctor

The courses are quite complicated but they try to divide them accordingly. Incase of PG, there is a lot of research work to do. A senior faculty supervises and guides us. Sometimes we need to spend days together in labs doing research.

Yes. There are internships provided by the college. The college also brings us students a good number of job opportunities. Most of them get placed with a good pay. The best thing is we also have an option to work in the Geetanjali hospital itself. We are preferred first to work than the outsiders. The pay is also pretty good there.

There are a lot of events celebrated in the college. Now and then, cultural events like Holi and Diwali celebrations are celebrated. Freshers and annual day functions are also a huge part of college celebrations.

The fee here is quite high but the facilities and opportunities provided are also very good. Hence paying huge amounts doesn't matter when you get so much in return. As per what I was asked to pay, it was 5.6 lakhs per annum. Maybe the fee might have increased by now.

No. As far as i know, here is no scholarship option available. Only SC/ST people have the option for this. There is an option for college loan instead. It will be even better if the college includes a scholarship.

Sports are highly encouraged in our college. Various sports fest are conducted throughout the year. Everybody is free to participate. No where you can find a senior-junior or a male-female dominance. The college environment is very friendly.

The college hostel is okay. the food is pretty much good but the menu is always the same. We need to clean our rooms by ourselves as they sometimes clean once in a week. The rooms are shared by 2 persons and has the required beds, cupboards, study desks etc, which is quite impressive.

I got qualified in my NEET-PG exam around 65% grades. My MBBS grades were also decent. After completing one year of internship, i decided to do M.D Psychiatry. I started searching for the best colleges out there and started applying. I got selected by a few colleges based on my grades and among them, i found Geetanjali Medical College to be the best option.

The faculty here is one of the best I can say. They are very friendly. Everyone here are well qualified and experienced. Some of the faculty even hold a doctorate degree. They are amazing in clarifying all our doubts. They share their own personal experiences with us to make us understand things better.
