Good Agricultural university.

The curriculum follows semester system. It was a four years course which was divided into six semesters. The curriculum includes classroom teaching, experiment, laboratory work, project work, assignment. It imparts theoretical and practical knowledge in all the areas of forestry. The university conducts two examination in each semester. One was the Internal Assessment and other was the Final Assessment.

The university has a well established placement cell. The placement cell conducts many training sessions, mock interviews, group discussions which helps the students to shape their career by developing their personalities. Many job opportunities were there in the field of Forest Department of Indian Government as Forester, Forest Range Officer etc. After completing my course, i gave many interviews and finally i got a job in Forest department with a very good salary package. My starting month salary was around 40000 rupees. I was very satisfied and happy with my job.

The fees structure was quite good and satisfactory. My yearly fees was around 24000 rupees. The total fees i paid for the four years course was around 96000 rupees which was feasible and affordable for all the students. Besides the total fees, we also need to pay an examination fees in every semester before the final exam.

Various scholarships were provided by the University. Scholarship was provided to the students on basis of Merit, NAU UG scholarship, post Metric scholarship for SC/ST students, scholarship to the poor but meritorious students, National Talent Scholarship etc. Many bank also provide loan facility to the students who cannot afford to pay their fees. These loan helps the students to continue their education.

The university encourages and motive its students to participate in various Extracurricular activities. Various indoor and outdoor games like ludo, carrom, table tennis, basketball, soccer, cricket etc are organized. Besides these, many literary activities, cultural activities, social activities are also organized in which all students enjoyed and participate in all the activities.

The admission process was based on entrance examination and the marks obtained in the last qualifying examination. I got admission in this course after qualifying my entrance examination. The minimum criteria for getting admission was 45 percent of marks in higher secondary examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. After fulfilling the marks requirement, students need to qualify their GUJCET (Gujarat Common Entrance Test). Students who qualify the minimum requirements are eligible to get admission in this college.

All teachers of our college have very deep knowledge and passion in their respective subjects. They are highly qualified. Most of the teachers have obtained Doctorate degree. They provides very valuable and good knowledge to all the students.
