The college is located in a beautiful place called Shillong. It's a peaceful area, lots of greenery to see and a great place to learn. It's welcoming towards everyone and people are ready to help with whatever you want.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is evenly distributed over the duration of four years. There is semester pattern and at the end of each semester exams are held. Practicals regarding machine building and coding are carried out.
Placement Experience
Internships are there as an option for the students. Mostly summer time internships are carried out for two to three months. The final year students do it readily as it helps in securing future jobs elsewhere.
Fee Structure And Facilities
93,750 rupees are the fees for for this course per year. The total adds up to 3,75,000 rupees for four years. All the 12 streams of B.Tech have the same amount of fees. It is a bit expensive as far as other courses are concerned.
Campus Life
A college is incomplete and boring withour recreational activities that relaxes the mind. The college arranges fun games, technical fests, cultural events, celebrations of festivals and skill based workshops for the students.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities are available for boys and girls. The hostel fees are 55,200 rupees per year. There is an additional 10,000 deposit at the start. The rooms are well kept and spacious. There are certain rules that are strictly followed.
Admission
The requirements to secure admissions here is to get minimum of 50% marks in 10+2 with physics, chemistry and maths as mandatory subjects. The selection depends on these marks and also the preparation of merit list.
Faculty
B.Tech is a demanding course and the faculty makes sure that everything is covered accordingly. The classes are held in English language. They help in projects and are available all the time to solve queries.
