Course Curriculum Overview
The course is three years long with semester system and we were having all the time to conduct the research work along with the findings and present in the classrooms through the project models. The external and internal were conducted at the end of each semester. MOOT Court sessions used to be conducted at the end of each month. Overall the curriculum was requiring a lot of hard work and dedication.
Placement Experience
Since PhD was a research work, placements were organised and we were given the opportunity to work as law teachers or go into government sectors to continue or researches. The college offered job as teachers after completing the PhD in law, 50% of the students used to opt for job and the rest continued the research work.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The total fees of the PhD law course was Rs.1,95,000 which was feasible and it provided a very good exposure to those students who wanted to research in Law. The fees could be submitted semester wise in the form of demand draft, card payments, other online methods.
Campus Life
The college had equipped MOOT courts along with a fully equipped library where all the references book and case studies were available. We had equal amount of boys and girls studying and all were from different backgrounds, there was a lot of diversity at the college. The students has various Club which included debate clubs, dance music clubs. It was a ragging free campus.
Admission
After I completed my law graduation I applied to the college and got the application form through the campus and filled in my academic details along with the attachment of the required documents. I was called upon the campus for my interview session and got my name in the first list of students who got enrolled in the PhD law.
Faculty
The teachers of the college were well qualified and all were respected doctors in their respective fields. All were very humble and helpful, fluent in English so no communication gap was there. I used to look up to my main mentor teacher who helps me along my research work.
