The college has been operating for over 36 years years and the course curriculum reflects the level of expertise and experience. The course covers a wide range of subjects required in the field and is very comprehensive.

Placement opportunities are really good, the college offers employment opportunities in reputed firms such as Fort Munnar Hotel etc. The college also offers 3 to 9 month paid internships at many reputed hotels in UAE, and even help with Student Visas.

The fees is almost average and is not the most expensive. For the three year course of B.Sc, the total fees is Rs. 3,38,800. The registration fees of 25,000 Rupees will be adjusted against this fees. Other miscallaneous fees such as ID fee, examination fees, hostel fees will be extra.

Many activities are conducted at MCC and they are always good. There are swimming pools, tennis courts and gyms etc. for the students as well. There are accommodations for Yoga, Basketballm Volleyball, cricket, badminton etc.

Since this is a residential program, hostel accommodation is necessary. The hostel facilities are excellent, with good quality food and lots of recreational activities for both the boys and girls. You have to pay a fees of 96,000 Rupees per academic year for the Hostel.

The admission is mostly offline. You have to fill and send in the application form along with a DD of 1000 Rupees in the favour of Munnar Catering College. Once that is done, you have to confirm your seat by paying a non-refundable fees of 15,000 Rupees to the college which will be deducted from your total fees if you join.

The faculty at Munnar Catering College is very good. Many professors have a lot of in depth practical knowledge which they use very well. The professors are very good at their respective subjects and some professors are truly excellent.
