My journey in BMIIT Gujarat

This institute not only helps me in my academic growth but also helps me to inculcate moral values which are required for the industry. It provides industrial exposure to its students which is important for leading a successful life. The beautiful and spacious campus here is an epitome of peace and calm which makes it a better place to live.

The curriculum of our college is advanced that keeps on updating time to time based on the demands in IT industry. It contains a wide variety of practical subjects that helps us in becoming industry ready professionals. In the first four semesters we have programming related subjects such as database management systems, Digital electronics, web designing, Linux and shell programming. As we proceed towards the 5th semester some elective subjects are added to the curriculum like computer graphics , data communication and search engine optimization.

The placements in our college is average. We possess a good placement record from past 3-4 years.The highest package bagged by our student was of 8 lakhs at FYLE Technologies in Banglore. Total of 46 students were placed in reputed IT companies such as WebXpress, trueline solutions,SSM infotech,Lanet team and many others.

The fee structure of our college is very feasible as it just costs around 5,09,00 for the complete 5 year integrated course. Fees structure vary according to the year as in the first year it is 95,000 in the second and third year it is 83,000 and in the last 2 years it is 1,24,000 approx. So, our college is well known to provide quality education for its students as minimal cost.

Many fests are organised by our college which helps in improving our interpersonal skills. Numerous clubs such as technical clubs, cultural clubs and dramatics club not only boosts our confidence but also provides us a unique identity among various students. Our college organised some the events such as poster presentation competition , industrial tour and ignite which helped me in becoming the best version of myself by boosting my confidence.

The hostel facilities in our college are very good as we have different types of rooms such as single seater , two seater and even three seater rooms. The cost vary according to the type of room allocated. The single seater costs approximately 60,000 per year. Air conditioned rooms are also available at different costs. Many amenities are provided in the hostel like reading rooms, TV , internet connections and many others. The mess charges are included in the hostel fees and the quality of mess food is also good .The campus provides various facilities as well , some of them includes ventilated classrooms, recreational areas, infirmary,indoor and outdoor games. Our infrastructure is very huge and provides us a spacious campus with a soothing environment.

My admission in BMIIT was done on the basis of my CBSE boards XII percentage. As I scored 90% in boards I easily got admission in this amazing college that offered me a seat out of its 120 seats in Integrated MSc(IT). The admission procedure was pretty simple I just had to apply online and submit an application form, then I received a call for futher counselling procedures and hence,I submitted various documents for my 5 year integrated course.

We have well experienced faculty members who are really knowledgeable in their respective fields. The faculty team of our college constantly work towards making us ready for the IT industry. Our teachers provides us with proper guidance and support that keeps us motivated throughout the course.
