The placements at My college are great the students are provided a number of opportunities to out their course not to get themselves employed in good companies the annual placement drive is organised by the placement cell of the college. A number of companies come to this placement drive and offer us packages in the range of 4.5 to 5 lakhs per annum

The fees for my course is rupees 1,20,000 per year making the total fees for the course rupees 2,40,000, the fees is to be paid in 2 equal installments, the sprawling buildings and infrastructure of the college makes the fees worth it.

Campus Life

Extracurricular activities are also promoted at our college the students are very welcoming and friendly nature and it will be very easy for you to make friends here. The college as a use campus where you can room out and the canteen is also pretty large and has a central AC making it the place where most of the students hang out

Admission

The admissions for my course are done on the basis of the marks that you score in your 10+2 examinations I scored 85% marks and was lucky enough to get into the Indo global group of colleges in Chandigarh after my selection I had to visit the campus to deposit a fee and attend my initial orientation.

Faculty

4

The faculty of my college is very experienced and since the college is 18 years old the teachers have a lot of experience and are very knowledgeable the teachers are very dedicated and make sure the students understand the concepts properly and give proper time to us rather than just rushing up with the course.

We were offered placement assistance as it was an online program and i really think it is a good initiative because college are least bothered for placements for their online programs. As i had to pursue a career in marketing i started doing projects and internships in marketing and sales domain.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the curriculum like 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness — it covers all the major CSE subjects like DSA, OS, DBMS, CN, AI, ML, Cloud, Cybersecurity basics, etc., and honestly that was one of the reasons I chose this course because at least the core subjects are solid even if PTU keeps some old-school stuff in the syllabus. The curriculum does prepare you for real-world stuff, but only to a point — like, if you focus on coding labs and projects you’ll be fine for internships, but if you depend only on classroom theory then it won’t help much because industry wants hands-on skills. For higher studies also it’s okay because theory depth in subjects like OS and DBMS is decent enough. But yeah, improvements are definitely needed — some subjects feel outdated, teachers should use more practical examples, and we need more real projects instead of copy-paste lab manuals; also some faculty teach directly from slides which gets boring fast. Exams come twice per semester (sessionals) plus the final end-sem around December/May; they’re mostly easy if you write long answers, but tricky if you rely only on understanding because PTU likes theory-heavy questions. Overall, the system works, but it could be way more practical and industry-focused.
