Course Curriculum Overview
The first semester is the foundation of your specialization, and the rest of the semesters are mostly specialization subjects. The last 2 semesters is completely focused on your super specialization. The course is really good and really does a good job of bringing forth your creativity.
Placement Experience
The college has very good placement drives, even the packages are very good for the students that pass outs. Huge Corporations such as the WWF, Byjus's, NFDC, Reliance, Tanishq, McCann world group, Elephant, TCS Interactive, Raymond etc. hire.
College Events
A large amount of events are held in the college throughout the year, cultural and otherwise. Ganesh Utsav, Durga Puja, Karnavati Utsav were all celebrated with a lot of pomp. There is a students showcase every now and then as well.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure for the B.Des course is INR 4.5 lakhs per year, so the fees is to a total of 18 lakhs for a period of four years. While it is a bit on the expensive side, there is a tradeoff here as the quality of education is very good.
Campus Life
The college has a very diverse crowd from all around India. The people are very good and welcoming. There are a lot of facilities for the students such as a well equipped gym, great canteen, a well maintained basketball court and so on.
Admission
To get admission into the B.Des courses, you need to have the basic eligibility that is 10+2, with a minimum of 50% aggregate scores from any recognized board. You have to clear the Design Aptitude Tes(DAT) for admission. There are online and offline forms too which you have to fill and submit.
Faculty
The faculty is very experienced and extremely well qualified, with many of the professors meeting International standards. Several professors have qualifications from very big institutes such as IIT, NID, University of Milan etc.
