Remarks

One thing that is very good about the Mumbai Film Academy is that It provides a lot of services which other colleges don? like on-site film shooting , practical lab, Studio practical and hands-on practical. All these facilities ensure that the students become industry ready and get good jobs and internships

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is basically practical-based and you learn by way of observing the professors hold a number of plays and dramas throughout the series of the course and also hold every classes for better understanding . Students are taught ways of implementing method acting. As such no examinations are there however you have to go through a series of test which are practical in nature in order to earn the certification

Placement Experience

4

The College also provides the services of career counselling two times during the year. Also hundred percent placement assistance is provided by the college so that the students get good jobs in the field that they choose to pursue a course in. This is ensured by the Placement Cell which organises Internship and placement drives along with skill development seminars throughout the year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee for my course is Rs.1,36,000 as the courses of six months the fees to bed in one shot payment according to me the fees has been kept very feasible as the facilities in the option to the college provides you are way beyond the fee that it charges and the fees structure has been kept flexible

Campus Life

The students at Mumbai film Academy are very warm and welcoming as the nature of the colleges artistic and creative in nature you will find It easy to make friends a number of cultural clubs and student societies are present like the dramatic society the music society the dance society and the various sports club so you have a lot of options at your disposal to choose from

Admission

The admissions for the diploma and acting course are held on the basis of 10+2 marks in my case I had passed my 12th class with CBSE board and had scored 90% marks that I was granted admission into this amazing college that mission procedure also is pretty easy as you just have to be selected and after the selection you have to deposit the fee to confirm your admission.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty of the college is really serious and a number of professors have been in the field of acting and filming since the past 10 or so years the professors are very kind and helpful and hold out sessions for us we also get the chance to have a field visit and visit the site of ongoing shoot during the year

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college are decent, especially for computer related branches. Students usually become eliggible for campus placement from the 7th semester. The placement cell conducts taining programs from earlier semesters, including aptitude tests, technical sessions and mock interviews to prepare students. Many companies visit the campus every year, mainly from the IT and software sector. Some ofthe common recruiters include companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Cognizant and mid level companies. A few products based or higher paying companies also visit for specific branches. The average package is usually around 4-6 LPA while the highest package can go above 10-12 LPA in some years, especially for computer science and IT students. The placement percentage varies by branch, but overall, around 70-80 % of eligible students get placed with higher percentages in computer related branches. As for my personal plan, after completeing my degree, I aim to get a good campus placement in a reputed company and start my career in the engineering field. I also plan to keep improving my technical and communication skills during the course to increase my chances of getting a better package.
