The Best 3 years of my life.

This is the one the best hotel management and hospitality institution one can get into as this college provides the perfect education as well as practical training for hotel industry. The ambiance, infrastructure and environment inside is as good as one wishes to get. After acquiring much knowledge about hotel industry when it is time for us to go for jobs, this institution provides us with placements within the borders of our country and also in various foreign countries. I am glad, proud and blessed to be a student of the SIHM.

This course is an undergraduate degree programme offered in hospitality and management. The course is of 3 years duration. It offers the required skills, knowledge as well as practical training to ace any task. Exams are conducted in the month of May and December. Overall the exams are chill and course is glamorous and exciting.

Placements are so good in our college. I got placed in Raddison Hyderabad as a Assistant Manager and I love working here. Mostly of my batchmates also got placed through college placements in various five star hotels like Hyaat regency Gurgaon, Crowne plaza New delhi, JW Mariott Goa, Taj lands end Mumbai etc. Some of my friends opt for higher studies in abroad and some are placed by their own.

There are ample of events and festivals are organised by college. Festivals like holi, diwali are celebrated on a last day of college before vaccation. College fest, fresher - farewell parties are organised every year by college.

The total fees of our course is 925,500 which is highly expensive as institute is under affiliation of National Council for Hotel Managment Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition (NCHMCT) New Delhi. Students can pay their fees in installments and through Internet banking and by NEFT.

College organised various events including food fests, cooking competitions, managing programmes and events etc where students are suppose to work. Every year college conduct an Young Chef olympiad which help us to improve our skills.

I selected this course over other courses because I enjoy making other people happy, and hospitality is a good industry for doing that. I got selected in this course by qualifying All India Joint Entrance Exam followed by counselling and interview.

All faculties are well experienced. They are in this profession from a decade. They all well experienced and knowledgable. Some teachers from college are still in my comtact. They still mentor me about corporate sector and guide me whenever i need them.
