Rahul Jain 's Review On ICFAI University, Dimapur

The college is doing very good according to me. The management team is working and trying their best to fetch good number of admission. The placement dept are regularly doing follow up calls to the students who are yet to be employed due to some or other reasons

MAT was the entrance I ve given to look for admission to the course and scored 84 percentile. I tried searching for college outside dimapur but then when I heard about the quality education this university provides from my sister I took admission under the university as I was fulfilling eligibility criteria also.

Course has 4 semester. 1 and 2 includes general subject. In the 3rd semester there is specializard on marketing papers which include business marketing, marketing management, service marketing, retail marketing papers. 4th semester has the choice of selecting among finance or human resource. I ve taken finance which included portfolio management, strategic financial management, wealth management, personal financial planning.

I have done internship at syndicate bank. There was no stipend for being an intern out there.it was for 2 months where good knowledge of the work was given to us. The expense regarding the same was done by us only

Placement assistance was given to us by the placement department of the university which consisted of companies looking for different students for their marketing finance or human resource dept.

College has a fest every year which includes activities among cultural social educational etc. Also there are sports event which take place every year where inter college participants participate. The sports included various games such as football cricket batminton etc

It is moderate. MBA program was of 1.8 lakh which is lessor if compared to other b school providing the same degree outside dimapur. So it is feasible for students like me who were or are looking for moderate fees

No I ve not availed anything such but I ve heard they give scholarship to the local nagaland students which is well n good for students

It has one of the best campuses in Nagaland when comparing to other colleges in Dimapur. Students has a good environment to roam around in such a big campus. Also, it has a playground where facility for football cricket etc are there. It was one among the best experience doing a professional study under the university. Being in a small town Dimapur at Nagaland and getting the opportunity of doing an MBA is what can make the state developed in the future. Students in Nagaland have the benefits of getting educated without getting migrated to other places and spend for getting such professional studies.

No hostel facility was provided as the students were mostly localities for whom bus facility was given which is very well managed by the university. I ve also taken bus service and it is safe and convinient for us. It was a fun experience as well

Yes we have a alumni group where all the update and information relating to the event etc are informed to us. Also there are students arranged among alumni selected who are called during any amendment in syllabus or curricular activities of the university

Twice a year ie.semester wise exams also there are two test exam happening at the mid of each semester. This test marks are added at the end sem marks so students remain all time serious about studies during the semester

All the faculties I found were expert in their own field of the papers they are assigned with.the faculty are very friendly and outspoken. We can easily speak for doubts to the faculty at their own table of work at the staff room.
