TISS test it was a written test followed by an essay if you qualify in this, you are called for an interview.

College internship experience was awesome, general stipend Offered was Rs. 20000 per month on an avg.Top companies like Wipro, IBM, ITC, HLL, P&G, TCS came and the stipend for Internship was very competitive.

The placements & job opportunities were excellent 100% students were placed, 30% on day zero and 70% on day 1. Top companies like Wipro, IBM, ITC, HLL, P&G, TCS came and the salary offered was very competitive between Rs. 10 lacs to 15 lacs pa.

Intercollege technical, cultural, management festivals which your college holds are really big and the participation in them is overwhelming. There are frequent alumni meets in various cities in India and Abroad. Altida is an annual meet in TISS every year wherein all the alumni are invited every year. Various MDPs and conferences are also organised by them.

Rs 1 lakh per annum including tuition fees, hostel acco and mess charges very nominal despite TISS being in prime mumbai location. Reason being that TISS is aimed at MSW too.

Education loans were very common from various banks like HDFC, ICICI, SBI. Many scolarships like NTSE and tata scholarships were also provided.

There were many extracurricular activities, social labs, sports, competitions on enterpreneurial organizations, debates etc. Gender ratios is 1:1, Hostel Parties are fun, workshops are frequent, cultural societies very tolerant with regards to gender, ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation, politics and economic status.

Excellent hostels rooms, both single seaters and twin sharing were available. PGﾒs are available with the average rentals which need to be paid in that case around 5000 to 15000 depending on facilities.

Excellent few of them would teach in other colleges too like XLRI and IIMs as guest faculty. All of them were industry consultants who were abreast with latest developments.
