Unitedworld Institute of Design - [UID] is situated in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. It is affiliated to Karnavati University, a private university in Gujarat. It offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the field of designing, hostel facility, good placement opportunities.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was competitive enough to help us grow. Computer labs and libraries helped us research for certain exams and projects. There were 2 final exams in a year, along with internal tests and projects.
Placement Experience
Year after year, renowned companies came to our campus placements, offering us decent packages. Some of them were Shoppers Stop, Titan, Central, fabindia, hp, Reliance Trends. Inside the campus, internships were available to us to have some work experience.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees for a year for M.Design was ?4 lacs, for total duration of post graduation, it is ?8 lacs, which is pretty heavy. Considering the infrastructure, campus, academic level, the fees was compensating, but still quite expensive.
Campus Life
Students' work events are a big part of our college. Regularly, we used to showcase our work/designs to our fellow mates. It was really encouraging. Along with this, festivals are celebrated with full zeal, and sports fields are put to proper use for students to have a balanced life.
Admission
I had completed my Bachelor's from this college and was familiar with its good aspects, so decided to continue my Master's degree from here. The admission process consists of 2 rounds. 1st round is aptitude and analysis test. 2nd round includes a situational and a portfolio test.
Faculty
The faculty members used easy tricks and worldly examples to explain complicated concepts to us. They would always support us whenever we had any problem. They tried their best and used the best technology (audio-visual) to make everything easy for us.
