Course Curriculum Overview

The course structure for every course varies. Talking about English specifically, a lot of focus is given on the history of language and various authors which have earned their name. Novels are an essential part of this course.

Placement Experience

The placement cell of the college conducts job and internship fairs but that is limited to some courses only. The students usually have to find such opportunities themselves. When it comes to teaching as a profession, there are better opportunities available.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure for the MA course is Rs 5700 for one year. It is quite feasible and affordable when it comes to the fees structure as entire post graduation will be completed in Rs 1150 or less. The facilities provided are also at par.

Campus Life

Workshops, seminars and department events are conducted on a weekly basis. Inter departmental competitions are not that active since the mode of education is distant. There is a toleration policy as well in the campus.

Admission

Apart from the MBA courses, admission to all the other courses is based on the marks obtained in the graduation programme. For MBA, the scores of CAT/MAT are valid. I chose English because of my passion towards the language.

The teachers and all the other staff members are supportive and highly experienced. They've been in this profession for a long time and are reputed too. The sessions are more or less taught in an interesting way.

Placement Experience:

The last few years placement is better. The placement is around 80%. From the final year, the students are allowed to sit in placement drive. The placement begins in Aug-Sept and it goes upto April - May. The number of campany visited in the last year is 80+ and around 400+ students got placed in our department. Now comes to my plans, I want to work in a core reputed organization in which I can grow my future career and learns from senior professionals.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to go for a field having Biology in it. Thus biology and tech made a good option for me. MY course incuded much more than Biotech. It had French, Pscycology, environmnet sci, Marketing and also a lot of sports imnvolved. There were 2 semesters per year. The teaching methods are quite good along with modern tech. Labs were well equiped and also propoer dress code was maobted during pracyical lessons.

Actually this is a general degree University , so I must mention that placement facalities are not so good. But yes , Job Fair is organised in University by some external agencies which offer jobs varying 2-2.5 lakhs per annum . But in the university most of the students do not accept that jobs. Half of the students are more interested on the higher studies. So ahet completing the fourth semester they prepare for PhD. And the another half are preparing for central government sponsored exams like CGL, CHSL, RRB, SBI , IBPS, LIC etc. University has a significant number of students who have qualified for Government Competitive exams.

Actually Some of the Local Companies & Private banks Offer placements which are averagely worth 250000/-. Some of the Students appear for it , but the Number is Very less. Actually In Present Circumstances , Most students wants a stable Government, Especially Central Gov job . So they Prepare for exams like SSC , SBI , IBPS, LIC , RRB etc.
