- Phase 2 Counselling & Admission Schedule for PG courses under Arts Faculty has been released. Online Counselling for candidates shortlisted in the Broad Merit List will be held from Nov 18 to Nov 22 and from Nov 25 to Nov 26, 2024 through Google Meet. Further, candidates who will be provisionally selected after online counselling must deposit the admission fees online from Nov 26 to Nov 30, followed by document verification of such candidates from Dec 2 to Dec 4, 2024. - Round 2 Online Counselling for candidates shortlisted in the Broad Rank List of BEd course will be held on Nov 26, 2024 at 11 AM through Google Meet. Further, candidates who will be shortlisted after online counselling must deposit the admission fees online from Nov 26 to Nov 29 and the document verification of such candidates is scheduled from Dec 2 to Dec 3, 2024 at the university. Rajendra Academy for Teacher Education, Durgapur was established in 2009, by Rajendranath Education and Welfare Trust. The campus is located on lush green land at Gopalpur, Durgapur-12. The motive of the college is to provide the facility of quality Teacher’s Training Education from Bachelor’s and Diploma level to Master’s level and presently for last four years institute offers one year course of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.). The institute has all necessary facilities like Library, Transport facility, laboratory, computer laboratory, sports facility, medical facility etc. The institute organizes extracurricular activities and Cultural / Literary Activities for the student’s to enhance their knowledge and skills.

Rajendra Academy for Teacher’s Education does not offer placement opportunities to the students. The students of the academy have to apply themselves for off-campus placements and job oppurtunities.
The second-year fee of the Rajendra Academy for Teacher’s Education is INR 35,000. The first-year fee of B.Ed. is also the same INR 35,000. The total fee of the course is INR 70,000.
