Course Curriculum Overview
This is a 3 year course in dancing in which we learn about various dance forms and various instrumental music like sitar, sarod, sarangi, kathak dance, manipuri dance, bharatnatyam, kuchipudi, odissi and many more. All these courses have been designed to give weightage to the methodical learning and upholding the highest norms and standards of the universities and examination course.
Placement Experience
The placements of our college is really very good , last year the average package was around 4 lpa and the highest was 9lpa which was taken by one of my seniors.Various internship programmes are also offered by the college for the students who want to prove their worth in the field of dance , Music and many more.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees anywhere range from 7000 to 1 lakh according to the courses that you have chosen. I find this amount quite feasible seeing the opportunities that this institution is providing us in the case of dance, music and visual arts.
Fees and Financial Aid
Our college also provides various regular schemes of scholarships for meritorious students which is primarily based on their performance in the examinations. Students who get those scholarships get further opportunities to gain education and training under our well trained and experienced of the college. After the students have completed their training, they receive assistance in obtaining placements in top renowned public and private educational institutions.
Campus Life
Many dance festivals are also organised at our college , and many baithaks are done so as to encourage the students to perform well.Many cultural activies like holi , diwali, bihu, pongal , durga pooja are also held in our college to narrow the regional differences among the students.
Hostel Facilities
The hostels are very good and fully furnished at affordable costs to the students who are not from Chandigarh and also from abroad. We also have a Bhaskar Rao indoor auditorium with seating capacity of over 150 students at a time to conduct any special cultural activities or monthly baithaks. We also have an audio and video cell which are recordings of successful artists. The guest faculties of our college are also being offered to various gurus who comes to visit our institutions.
Admission
A tenth class certificate is also a basic admission criteria at our college. But if you want ti get admission to the final course of Churamani, you need to complete all the four courses first. You can apply for this examination offline also. After you have downloaded the form fill in the preferred course and affix the self attested photos of our self. Then pay the fees by DD or NEFT. After that you can mail the application to the college and then after the admission takes place with the decision of the college management.
Faculty
The teachers are really very good and they provide good presence of mind and excellence as well as to achieve high standards by conducting various examinations. Our teachers are really very knowledgeable and their foremost aim is to universalized the arts education among the students which will contribute in the eradication of poverty and significantly generate more employment opportunities by producing young talented artists in performing music dance and visual arts.
