Prarambhik is a 2-Year preliminary course dealing with Classical Music (vocal & instrumental) Or Classical Dance Or Fine Arts (Painting) Or Recitation and written and practical examinations being conducted at the completion of course

Fee Structure And Facilities
Since Pracheen Kala Kendra at Chandigarh was established under the Registration of Societies Act XXI, 1860 vide No. 72 of 1957-58, thus all certificate courses as well diploma courses offered by the institute are cheap and economical. The Kendra has a regular scheme to award scholarships to brilliant and indigent students on the basis of their results in the various examinations conducted by the Kendra.

Ours is a family with special interest in arts, music, dance.So after completing my boards exam I decided to take some music course from Pracheen Kala Kendra.For admissions the institute does not have any strict guideline but usually admit students on first come first serve basis depending on availability of seats
