Remarks

I had an amazing 3 year experience at my university. I learnt a lot from the members of my faculty as well as my friends. The opportunities that I got in these 3 years have helped me take my career to the next level.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course was very modernized meeting all the requirements that a computer applications students desires. All the latest I. T and computer science principles very included in the curriculum. Special attention was given to provide adequate lab classes so that practical knowledge is gained by us. The exam structure was also designed to bring the best out of students.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placements are more than decent in the university. The college will provide you with many opportunities to develop your skills and if you have done that then you will be easily placed. The college also helps the students in getting internships which have stipends depending your ability and the organizations payscale.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure for my course was Rs 15, 000 per year for 3 consecutive years. Apart from that there was University admission and registration fees of Rs 2000 and University Development fees of Rs 1000. These charges are feasible and affordable according to my opinion.

Fees and Financial Aid

The university helps meritorious and exceptionally talented students get scholarships from all the North Eastern governments. Fortunately, through my performance in the 1st semester, I was granted one such scholarship. The university also provides help for students in applying for loan from PSU banks.

Campus Life

The university has modernized labs where we could experiment and research. The university aslo has an entrepreneurship development cell which helps students start their own business. There are indoor games facilities as well as play ground for cricket, football, volleyball etc.

Admission

I got admission on the basis of my 10+2 exam results. Any candidate applying must have passed 10+2 with at least 50% marks in aggregate. I was always interested in computers and digital world. They always fascinated me and this is the course I always wanted to do.

Faculty

4

The college faculty was amazing. I had not expected them to be so forthcoming and helpful but they were extremely generous in helping each and every students need. Most of the faculty had excellent background which was visible in their teaching method.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The way they prepare the question is the main reason for me to choose this college. They really provide not only bookish knowledge but also how to deal with the real world. The examination that they conduct are very reasonable because they give us the amount of time that a normal students need to be prepared for an examination. So I think it's quite reasonable and nice.

Course Curriculum Overview:

NEHU syllabus is quite good I should say, especially with the introduction of the NEP(New Education Policy) Well regarding the curriculum, I would say the teachers play and important part regarding that situation. However, exams or tests are becoming quite a headache for the students compared to the duration of our courses

Remarks:

NIT Meghalaya is a decent institute as par as studies are concerned. You will have ample of chance to study and learn new stuffs, being a new institute you get a lot of stuffs and initiatives to be done and handled single handy which gives another chance not only to learn and showcase your skills but also to use it in future for organizing similar stuffs in future.Being a MeghNITe , it was always a cutting edge for me in interviews and people used to literally appreciate the exposure I had even from being a remote located college of India ( though it was not pretty different to what a normal NITian would had in other NIT).If you do same thing in limited resources to what your competitor does with ample of resources, even having same outcome its more likely to get appreciated and this is what happens when you are studying at new NIT.Coming to infrastructure : NIT M has decent labs ( comparable to even many of old IITs ) ,mix of youth ,energetic and quite experienced pool of faculties , prime location and technically sound students as college.I would suggest to go ahead with decision and consider it a fair Chance to study at NITM (Provided you do not have any better option).
