Course Curriculum Overview
UID comes under Karnavati University, which is a private university. The course curriculum offers 4-year graduation for Bachelor's degree, and includes necessary theory, practical, and research aspects. A year is divided into 2 semesters, thus 2 semester-end exams.
Placement Experience
Internship opportunities were provided to us as it is necessary to have work experience befote getting a high-paying job. Prestigious companies come down for campus placements like Westside, Viacom18, Pantaloons, Oppo.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It was a little expensive to study here. B.Design course had me out of ?4.5 lacs a year, which means ?18 lacs for 4 years. This is probably because there are lesser number of designing colleges in India than commerce and science.
Campus Life
Cultural diversity is found largely in India. Hence we celebrated every major festival with enthusiasm. Sports matches were often conducted to provide us with balanced life. Apart from this, events organised by students happen regularly where they showcase their talent.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is available separate for boys and girls. Rooms are on sharing basis, are fully equipped, and have basic desired amenities. Canteen, wifi, study rooms are available to make students feel like they are at home.
Admission
I had studied commerce till 12th standard, but didn't want to continue. I started exploring and was particularly inclined towards art and design. So, I applied in this college, passed round 1 when the merit list came out. Round 2 was aptitude and analysis test. I passed that too and got admission.
Faculty
Faculty members are well qualified. If we treat them with respect, they would definitely return the good behaviour. They supported us academically and mentally. Teachers were really balanced between professional and friendly.
