Remarks
In short.. If you want to enjoy the college life and want to study for other examinations this is the best college for you. Attendance is not mandatory too. So you should always prefer this college if you want to enjoy the college life.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course duration was 3years. There was 2 semesters in each year. So total 6 semesters. There was final exam at end of each semester. The college had a big library with plenty of books. The classrooms were big and full of facilities.
Placement Experience
Placement and job opportunities were less. Few companies visited the college every year and few students who were genuinely talented selected in placement drive. I also applied for 2 companies but I didn't selected. But it's okay... I got the lot of experience from it.
College Events
The events including republic Day and independence day were celebrated enthusiastically in college. All the festivals were celebrated by the students. Technical activities were also arranged by the faculty members to enhance the skills and interest of the students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee was too less. Just 5000 to 6000 fees u have to pay for each year. Also different scholarship schemes were also available for the talented students. I think out of the all college in assam is this the only college where fee was too less.
Campus Life
Sports and all other activities were always conducted by the college. Sports week was celebrated by the college and students participated in it very enthusiastically. Also different workshops and quizzes about finance were arranged by the college which helped us a lot to gain our knowledge.
Admission
After completing 12th I had an interest in finance so opted for the bachelor of commerce in doomdooma college assam. As it was one of the best college in assam for commerce. The admission process was totally based on merit. I had good marks in 12th so I got the admission in first round in a reputed Institute named as doomdooma college, assam.
Faculty
The faculty of the college was talented and supportive. They helped our batch and me too much to understand each subject. No doubt, we got lot of knowledge and skills from them. We were always thankful to them for that.
