Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was 8 semesters long. We had a basic design module to presenting our graduation project at the end of the 8th semester. We were taught everything from sustainable fashion to drawing illustrations to material exploration.
Placement Experience
The placements offered by the college were exemplary. Companies like Google, HCL, HDFC Bank, ITC, NDTV, PepsiCo, Philips India, Vodafone, Royal Bank of Scotland visited during the campus drive to select our students. In my course, we also had an industry internship, which the teacher guided us with.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The total fees of my course was 18 lacs in rupees. I can be considered as bit on the expensive side, but the opportunities the course presents are limitless. The college also gives the students scholarships which you can enquire at the reception.
Campus Life
The college is so diverse and has a wide range of activities that they host. Students have many options from celebrations to just chilling out with friends.They have sports and other cultural activities that will keep you occupied all year long.
Hostel Facilities
Life at UID was wonderful. My life at the hostel was so much fun. I still keep contacts with some girls i met there. There's a wide range of prices for the rooms so you can select from what you're most comfortable with. The rooms are all hygienic and well-equipped for you.It's also a great place to make friends.
Admission
I've always felt my hands were made for drawing, so i applied to KU to sit in for the entrance. I was nervous but the aptitude went well. I got shortlisted with the marks of my aptitude and 12th grade.
Faculty
We had the best teachers, teaching us all about the fashion industry. With Marius sir to Khusboo ma'am, we were taught by finest. They were supportive and dedicated. They were very approachable and were ready to help us at all times.
